Charles Dickens struggles to write only for profit. And his desire for financial security only fuels his own fears and self-pity. His soul-searching leads him to explore his past and wander the dark areas of London where he grew up. That’s were he meets a young girl whose life hautingly mirrors his own childwood. Through the strange events she reveals, she reawakens one of his dreams – to write something that will solve the plight of child labor.
