Abhi realizes that Neha is upset with him and so he tells her that he took Simran shopping since she is more experienced with this sort of shopping. However he would take Neha along soon. Manas and Ria confess that they enjoy each other’s company. Urmila notices that Manas is a little more positive and hopeful that they will win the case. Ria needs Manas’s signature on some papers and tries to get him over the phone. Manas sees her calls and rushes to her office. Manas and Ria anticipate going on a holiday after the case is over. They are getting closer to each other. In the meanwhile, Ria is chatting on the Net with a child who knows about Manas and Ria. Ria tells Manas that she is her daughter Khushi who lives and studies in the US. She says that she is an unwed mother and Manas is shocked.

Ep 428
Ria tells Manas that she had got involved with an older married man when she was 17 and it had resulted in the birth of her daughter, much against the wishes of her family who had disowned her. The man had also migrated to Australia and not known about the child. However, Ria had decided to bring up the child and prove it to everyone that she could do it. Manas is shocked and he leaves before Ria can complete. He goes and tells Simran all about it who tells her that he shouldn’t let it affect him since Ria was only his lawyer and she had done something gallant. Manas goes back to Ria and tells her that he understands her and admires her. She is convinced and relaxed. Some policemen ransack Ria’s office in the meanwhile and she is called names. Ria gets a statement recorded from the Jailor wherein he confesses that he has got her office ransacked and armed with this Ria goes to court the next day. She presents the case convincingly and wins it. Everyone is happy.
